NEW DELHI: Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its budget smartphone Honor 9 Lite in India earlier this month. The smartphone is now up for grab via flash sale exclusively on Flipkart. The sale will being at 12PM today (January 29) and the customers can purchase the device in Sapphire Blue, Glacier Grey and Midnight Black colour options.
The company has launched two variants of the smartphone — 3GB and 4GB priced at Rs 10,999 and 14,999 respectively. As part of the sale, the customers can also avail some offers given by the e-tailer. Flipkart is offering guaranteed buyback value of up to Rs 7,000 and 10% discount to ICICI Bank credit card holders and 15% cashback to PhonePe users.
For those unaware, the highlight of Honor 9 Lite is its quad camera setup and its design. The smartphone comes with a dual camera setup at both front and back. The smartaphone incorporates 13MP+2MP camera setup on both front and back. The front camera has f/2.0 aperture and has upgraded gender-based beautification feature.
In terms of design, the smartphone comes with a dual-glass unibody, which offers mirror like finish.
The handset sports a bezel-less display. It comes with a 5.65-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2160 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass on top. The Honor 9 Lite is powered by the company’s own Kirin 659 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB/64GB of internal storage and users can add more storage by inserting a microSD card.
The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system topped with the company’s own EMUI 8.0 UI layer. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
